My top 2 travel destinations to travel after the pandemic!!
One thing about me is I love sitting on airplanes, I love new adventures and love exploring different cities and cultures. I have not traveled in over 1 year now and I am absolutely missing it. But I know safety first. However here are my top travel destinations I want to go back once it is safer.
Maldives
Maldives the place i want to travel to the most. I really miss this place so much. Everyone there is so relax.
Imagine waking up to nothing but deep blue oceans and almost white beaches to deep sea diving or just snorkeling in the clean fresh seawater.
That was what I did back in 2015. I actually went to Maldives to get my deep sea diving license done and I fell in love with that place. I went there for a week and everyday I was either in the ocean with the caribbean, or on a boat just travelling to different islands watching dolphins jump or even seeing turtles up close in the water since it was crystal clear blue waters.
Went on boat fishing at 5am in the morning . First catch was this humongous lobster almost twice the size of my face.
One of my first few dives at about 20m deep into the ocean blue water. Look at this magnificent beauty manta ray. Just casually gliding its way above my head.
Came back with my back all peeling from a bad sun burnt being out on the boat for a good 4 hours at least. But this just takes away all the pain, caught dolphins swimming through crystal clear waters, jumping up from the water as i watch in awe.
Crystal clear blue water and sandy white beaches, this was the view i woke up to for the past week in Maldives.
London
Another place I would love to visit again is London. This was a very impromptu trip back in 2018. I went there to visit my best friend who was studying in London. Also when i went to London it was suppose to be a summer but guess what I saw snow for the first time. Lucky i did packed proper clothes so I was not freezing in the cold nights.
The reason why i want to go to London again is to be able to travel further up into Europe and London is the central hub for most of Europe. Since this was an impromptu trip in 2018, i really did not plan ahead and thus could not travel up to Paris via the train due to time constraints. Thus, i would love to be able to go again and explore further. However London itself was not as bad, if you are a fan of city life you would definitely love London.
This place is known an Bicester Village, pronounced as "Bis-ter" not "Bi-chest-ter. This is an outlet shopping mall which is quite easy to access from the city of London. All you need is to take a train about 46 minutes from London Marylebone and there you have reach the outlet shopping, and shop till you drop. Branded designers are almost usually 40-70% off.
Sadly, when i went in 2018, the famous Big Ben was closed for renovations so I could only take pictures from the outside:(. Another reason for me to go back!
How can one not go to London and not take photo with the famous red telephone booth
I think is safe to say I can do city life yet also the relax beach life. I hope the pandemic ends soon so i can travel and be more adventurous. I also really want to travel with friends and create more memories. But for now, stay safe and be healthy!
