I love makeup, I love anything beauty related. I loved reading about upcoming makeup trends, to new skincare lines or even improved skincare products. Here are my top beauty products that I would recommend to anyone.

Maybelline lifter gloss

I used to avoid lip glosses as I really did not like the tacky feeling it leaves on your lips. But OMG after receiving this as a gift as you cannot find this product in Singapore, my friend who travelled to Switzerland bought this for me on the way back. Let me tell you I immediately fell in love with it and went to read reviews on this product and it seems everyone LOVES it too! This lip gloss does not give you that tacky feeling ad the shine and plump it accentuates you lips is amazing. Now i am looking to collect all the shades when traveling is possible again!

Detangling Hair Brush

Got this hair brush awhile back from Takashimaya Department store and honestly I thought hmm is just a normal brush how good can it get. My oh my I was wrong. My hair texture is really not that great as I have dyed and bleach my hair ever since the age of 13 thus you can imagine how dry and coarse it can get. It can also get very frizzy in the morning. Let me put you guys onto this brush. The way it finely combs through your hair is magnificent it also makes your hair shine and less frizzy with one brush. I absolutely love it and used it every time I come out straight from the shower and thus i would have less frizz and tangles. This is really a must have if you have frizzy, tangled and dry hair.

Maybelline Cheek Heat Blush

Won this product in a giveaway and prior to that, i had already watched a-lot international Youtubers talk about this blush. I squealed a little bit inside when i saw this and immediately tried it on. This product is as good as it gets and I understand why so many Youtubers raved about this. The way it seamless melts into your face and gives on the natural flush look is impeccable. What was more surprising for me is that it managed to stay on throughout despite the hot humid weather we have here. This product is not sold in Singapore stores but it is not that hard to find on online platforms such as Carousell or online beauty platforms such as beautybay etc.

Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil

For a brow pencil to cost $44, yes it is much. I do agree. However for me i feel it really gives you a bang for your buck. I have not found anything cheaper that gives off such a high quality standard. The brow pencil tip is so fine that it makes mimicking your brow hairs so accurately. The way it lasts all day is also surprising. I tried and tested it before as I had accidentally fallen asleep with this product on me and it was still there the next morning. I know some people prefer drugstore brands but I persoanlly have not and just keep running back to this product.

Velvet Veil Abduct Cosmetics Setting Powder

For people who did not know, Abduct Cosmetics is a born and bred Singapore brand. I love supporting local brands and for a local brand to come up with such superb makeup products, I would say is highly unique. This banana powder is so finely milled and it just sets into your pores so well. It really sets your pores till it is almost invisible. I love this powder for one reason which is when I get oily during the day I use this powder to set my face with such and the oil just disappears and the powder sets into my forehead and t-zone so well. It also does not give you any flashbacks which i absolutely loved especially when taking selfies with flash since I do be taking alot of photos and videos online.

Abduct Cosmetics Spellbound Eyeshadow Palette

Same like the powder, it is from Abduct Cosmetics. The most amazing thing about this palette for me is it acts as a 3in1 especially when I am travelling overseas. It is originally an eyeshadow palette but the brown shade on the lower right and the red shade on the lower left acts as a bronzer and blush and the top left acts a highlight. Wait so make that 4in1. The shades on this palette are also very versatile for a day to night time look. I really carry this diligently when I am overseas as it can really do up many looks with just one palette.

Since it is a local company, in times like these we should support them as much and do what we can when needed.
